CoNGA Trips

Recently CoNGA has taken a few interesting trips that I would like to report on. The first trip was to the Abyss. The last time I had been to the Abyss was many years ago and it ended in a mass depart of everyone involved. This time was very different. We grouped outside the entrance and sent Crunch in as a runner. We entered and cleared a good portion before "out" was called. The second time we sent Crunch and was able to clear and hold the snell. Once this was done we stayed on for awhile killing the many critters as they spawned. After a little while people had to leave so the group broke up and we went back to town. It was a short but very interesting hunt.

Recently a group discovered a new area and a new book. While they were at the first Pathfinding book they found a path leading to a new area. CoNGA decided to take a look at this area as well. We spent a long time recruiting the required healers and fighters to get too and hold PC1. Sielk seemed to be too busy so Otepei went instead. (OOC: we needed a healer and Otepei wanted to get to the first PF book). Once we had the group we moved out. We cleared most of the areas along the way with no problems but our techniques seemed a little rusty and we had some issues with the group working as one. But over all we did pretty good. At the end Otepei got to start training the first PF book and our Mystics got a look at "Tart'targ's Orbing Gates" book. None of our Mystics on hand were able to gain anything from the book but gave us something to think about. I am sure we will be planning additional trips in the near future to see if any thing can be gained.

It was refreshing and a lot of fun to do these two trips. Adding a little spice into the CoNGA experience. Crunch has stated that we will try to mix things up a little more and do these types of trips in the future. Otepei will be asking for another trip to the PF book in a few weeks after he gets the ranks stored up to fully train the book. Talk to Crunch or anyone in CoNGA about joining us, we do regularly invite guess to join us on the trips.
