It has been awhile since I have posted any notes. One of the biggest events to happen to me in several years happened a month ago. After many months of training and hunting I have finally been granted the title of Ranger. Since I started activily trying to become a Ranger, it took about six months.
One of my first tasks was to donate/use all the wood and feathers I have been purchasing and storing for this day to get my Heartwood Charm. I had in my storage locker over 40 pieces of wood. This was creating huge storage costs but I did not want to start gathering wood after a became a Ranger. Also, I wanted to get instant gratification to some of the Ranger skills. I went to my locker and pulled out as many logs as I could carry.
I had to make two trips back to my locker to get more logs. After testing several dozen logs, one was good enought and I was given my charm.
Thanks to all the people who sold or gave me wood over the last six months so I could get this part of being a Ranger completed quickly. Once I got my heartwood charm I donated the remaining wood to the building of the Castle.
I am still learning about all the new skills a Ranger can use. It looks like I have a lot of training to do still to take advantage of some of the really cool things we can do as Rangers. I have gotten lots of help from other Rangers which has been great, thanks. One of the things Rangers can do is learn the ways of a critter so we can better fight them. So far I have learned the ways of Young Sasquatch, Forest Chamelopod, Stinging Beetle, and Giant Carnivorous Plankton.
Some OOC stuff..... I have removed the search section from the botton of every page, I thought this was a little redundant and now I only keep the one search page that you can follow a link at the botton of each page. I have kept the Google Ads, they don't really bring in any money but this is a beta test for another site I work on and hope to generate income from.
