I was laying around in my boat off the beach of KI the other day when I realized that I had not updated my notes in quite awhile. I started looking back through all my scraps of paper and images and found that quite a bit has happened in the last couple of weeks and I have not wrote it down here.
I guess I will start by updating you on my quest to build the bridge on KI. I have been making great progress and people are selling me wood and stone in great numbers. Here you can see some of my recent donations. One small note even though I continue to tell Yammelurt that the plural of stone is stones, he still does not seem to get it correct.
I noticed on my last trip that we have made some headway on the gathering of materials. Yammelurt is now reporting 50-60% done!
Several people have asked why I run around without my normal outfit. Most of the time I hunt with nothing but my default brown clothing. It turns out collecting wood can fill up your backpack pretty quick and I have no room to even keep my cloths. Here you can see an image of my backpack and why I have not dressed up lately. I normally care a spare chain, shield and two other weapons but with this quest I had to put them in storage.
During one of the trips Tigger had an interesting suggestion. I have to admit that I was honored by such a suggestion, but I want to note that I am working to build the bridge for the benifit of all and seek no personal reward for doing so.
I aslo thought I would give you an update on my training as well. I am now past the 30 training mark with Rodnus and seem to be doing very well. I am finding that I stay healthy a lot longer in battles now because of the Hista he provides and when a healer is with me I do find that I get to full health much faster than before. The rate of healing seems to vary a lot so I am sure it has something to do with what training the healers already have. I have taken the 6th Circle test a few times now and I think I have gotten the timing down so that I can trap the critters and fight them one at a time. But I am still a very long ways off from passing 6th. I have yet to kill any of the critters in the test. My current training with Rodnus does not seem to help much in the test.
Earlier this week the SDC agreed to purchase a museum token from Lundar. I was selected as the member who was make the transaction. I met up with Lundar and make the exchange. Jeanne and Speedier were also in attendance. The SDC will work hard to precent Puddelby with a fine piece of art to be displayed in the museum at some later date. Once we have a date I will announce it here.
On a trip recently with CoNGA we were able to make a break through and get past a PF path just north of the exit from Orga Village. Elenis was the only one who was able to open the path. Once we got through we found a small garden but were not able to find any exits. There is one set of purple trees up at the top that kind of looks like a gate simular to Wisher's Gate. But we did not even see sparkles.
Here are few images of a recent hunt. I don't remember the exact date but I remember that we had to cut our way through 7 or 8 cave cobra before exiting the snell. Nothing but fun!
Lastly, today I was able to make one of our clan hunts. I rarely get out on the weekly hunts as the time is not best for me this time of year. I was glad that I could make it today because a new member was added to our clan. Panos was made a full member! Welcome to the SDC Panos, glad to have another clanmate and friend.
