I started the night off by running upto the NBC to gain a few coins for the
library. After a while Sten came in and joined me. We got an invite to the
Scarmis but we got cut off by a call for support in the east field. It seems a
few locks were causing trouble. It turned out to be more than a few and
there was a full scale Orge invation in place.
After clearing the west side of lower east field we ran north to find more Orge and Large Death Vermine. There were several groups of fallen here. About half way through the battle I saw that my chaining skills would be better used than my fighting skills. I started chaining the fallens to the nearest group of healers.
We cleared the north half of east field with a couple of fighting and chaining runs with out many more problems. And prepared to enter the north forest where people were reported to be fallen and many BROs were seen.
I decided I would make a few quick chaining runs up from the river into north forest so we could get some of the people. I figured if we were going to take on the forces of the Orge we would need more fighters and healers. You can see here I choose a good place to enter and found many fallen.
Not soon after I entered did I start getting bolted and the LDV started coming after me. I grabed the first 3 people I could and ran as about 12 bolts started coming my way.
I kept making runs grabbing the fallen and bringing them back down to the east field to get healed. Each time I went a little deeper and grabed a few more.
I tried to keep my chaining down to 3 people at a time. With my level of Loomva training I can chain 3-4 people without much chain breakage.
Here you can see that our forces finialy got a foot hold in the area and I was able to chain people from the front line in the North Forest to the healers in the same area.
At one point the battle got scattered a little bit and many people started falling again. The group I was with was almost completely wiped out and no healers left we retreated. Along the way I kept finding fallens and ended up chaining about 8 people all the way back to town center where a bunch of the people who could not be healed in the field where getting town horus help.
While we were healing up in town the remaining fallen in the east field and north forest where being raised or chained. A large force entered the TW and started clearing the Orge. I talked to Sten and found out that most of the battle was north of the meadow and I started heading that way. Along the way I found a couple of fallen and grabbed them on my chain. Once everyone from town was in the TW all the Orge were cleared very fast and the fallen healed up. We then took the battle to OC. This image here was the first look when I entered. The OC was packed with lower level Orge and many 'locks sitting in the back bolting us.
With in a few minutes there was once again many fallens. I started my chaining runs into the OC grabbing people and bringing them back out to the healers as you can see here just outside the OC entrance. It took some time but OC one was cleared. It was getting very late for me and it seemed that the battle was won so I headed back to NBC to grab a few coins for the library to call it a night.
I checked my notes after going to the library and found that 60 times I attached someone to my chain. I was also suprised that through the whole night I did not break a single chain and managed to have as many as 8 people on my chain at once. I hope those that I chained were able to get healed and join back into the fight.
